"Atypical" sexual behavior
the BDSM panel was definitely my favorite one to this point. the only thing i had "known" about BDSM was from reading Fifty Shades of Grey which through this class and the panel i found it is not an accurate portrayal of an SM relationship. i feel like the topics up to this point have been taboo in the past but are slowly making their way into mainstream, but BDSM is still at that point of being taboo. the panelists mentioned that people could be fired from their jobs if they are found to be a part of the BDSM community. i loved how one of them put it that we all have a little bit of kink in us and even though you may not identify as a part of the community or as kinky you like a little spanking sometimes. it was so interesting to hear about their experiences especially since it is so taboo still that it is difficult to openly talk about all of the facets of BDSM. i loved that they brought a "goodie bag" as well its cool to be able to see what they are talking about rather than them trying to describe it and you trying to picture it in your mind.
